Surprisingly, the heat at the lake has never bothered us. The cottage is made of cinderblock,, so it maintainss heatt or cold..... If we open most windows, there's a beautiful crossbreezee...and usually very comfortable....we llve on a point (called Windy Point by the neighbors. If it does become uncomfortable in here, I have several floor fans....works for me. lol
