We have been doing birthday parties more than usual it seems. Today was a friend we have known since I joined my job in utilities Dec, 1979. The friend we have been helping since their home was damaged by big rain. Found them a place to move out while home was repaired and then moved them back in .It was about 6 weeks to get things done by contractors.

Good to see the wife of my boss from 1974-79 except when leaving to have another baby and stay home for some yrs.

We are getting ready for our first tropical happening in a few days. You all talk of a/c. we use ours 24/7 most days.We have central so heat when it gets cold which isn't often. We set the a/c to 70 at bedtime and have a ceiling fan in bedroom too.We sleep like eskimos.
