When my mother was alive she always went to church. But her church had an older congregation and they weren't getting any new, younger members. They ended up disbanding and selling the church building to a Baptist church. Mom was with that church went it was new. She knew everyone in it. So my Mother had to find another church when she was in her 80's. I found that to be very sad. At that time in your life you want to be with something familiar and stable especially for your spiritual needs. Instead all these older members were dumped. Just sad all around.
