I stopped baking years ago when my blood sugar got too high. I don't need a ton of cookies around to tempt me.

When I was little I remember Mom and all the aunts got together and baked cookies together. each aunt would bake their favorites and at the end of the afternoon would split up the cookies and each aunt had a variety of cookies to take home to her family. there were all different kinds. I was fascinated with my Aunt Theda's green cookies that she pressed out of a metal thing. They were in a flower type shape.
