The Troy coach was really fired up about some thing and it looks like it seems gonna lose, but it’s funny cause it’s in probably his best interest for him to lose cause it’s better for the entire conference

Inclusion of the non P4 conferences in the CFB Playoff is specifically to stave off an antitrust claim from some school like Boise State or UCF when they finish 14th in the poll and are mad that they didn't get into the playoff.

Just like every ladder and gas can sold these days has been designed indirectly by plaintiffs' lawyer, so too has this playoff system. In short, blame the lawyers.
