I could tell from the tone being used by the host that he was rather skeptical of the product but he wasn't going to say anything critcal, for the sake of politeness. The owner was complaining that he cannot get either Representative Thomas Massie or Senator Rand Paul to meet with him about the product. I now see why. This product has virtually no practical application or value whatsoever. https://gunleash.com/

of the bottom of the grip. In my experience with semi-automatic handguns, that is the bottom of the magazine. So you need one for each mag you have?

And if it's stolen, the thief can just get a new mag.

Sure i guess if you really lose your weapon you may be able to recover it. But how many guns are actually straight up lost?

There are so many problems with this product.

The owner kept claiming that the device is "really small" and can be placed "practically anywhere" on the pistol. Uh, no. It is actually rather large and immediately noticeable. And the bottom of the magazine is arguably about the only place the device can realitically be attached without likely impairing the handling and functioning of the firearm.

And unless I am missing it, this is NOT a tracking device. It simply sends a signal to your phone app telling you when the firearm is no longer within 40' of the phone. Nothing more. What good is that?

And oh by the way. When I leave for work every morning, every single firearm I own (with one exception) is soon outside of 40' from my phone.

when it is out of range of your phone with the app? Absolutely nothing. This is a terrible product and the mere suggestion of this as an avenue of tracing firearms opens a pandoras box for gun grabbers that is unimaginable. I hope the host of the show skewered the guy.
