The owner kept claiming that the device is "really small" and can be placed "practically anywhere" on the pistol. Uh, no. It is actually rather large and immediately noticeable. And the bottom of the magazine is arguably about the only place the device can realitically be attached without likely impairing the handling and functioning of the firearm.
And unless I am missing it, this is NOT a tracking device. It simply sends a signal to your phone app telling you when the firearm is no longer within 40' of the phone. Nothing more. What good is that?
And oh by the way. When I leave for work every morning, every single firearm I own (with one exception) is soon outside of 40' from my phone.
