Should be investigating escape options. This is for the best case scenario of where the US ends up in 25 years/less.
Every person of moderate wealth and kids should be investigating escape options should the US start looking like a mid or worst case scenario.
If I can swing it, I’ll do the NZ investor visa program and get permanent residency there. I’d like to retire in the next 3 years or less so I’m not sure I can pull off those simultaneously so I’m searching for other good cheaper options as well. I have to see how the next year plays out, but my plan is to have a 2nd residency by the time the boys finish HS.
