You have a taser and and retractable metal baton. Use them if needed. There was no need for deadly force.

If we as a society don't hold our officers to a higher standard it leads to bad shootings like this one and makes it harder to justify good ones. Officers need much better training and we need much more stringent hiring criteria for them in the first place.
