i guess its possible we just arent defining our terms the same.
because when you say "trump is maga"... i would say ive always been "maga". maga isnt like a club or association... its just a common set of traditional values. its essentially love for your country; honor for its founders/your ancestors; an appreciation for the sacrifices from the generations before you, and a desire to preserve the fruits of said sacrifices that youve enjoyed for the generations that follow you. and yeah, we all want economic prosperity, but not at the expense of the above. so yeah, i don't see that going anywhere. tom tillis, cornyn, cassidy... guys like that are who is going somewhere. the republic primary voter is getting savvier. I expect Vance to run as the MAGA heir apparent. Rubio will also likely try to play up his MAGA bona fides. Maybe to a lesser extent than Vance will. Someone like Massie will not hold himself out as an extension of MAGA. But ultimately, I agree with Ace. Trump is MAGA.
