I don’t think your guitar is stolen, but were it a more expensive one I’d be worried that it was. Adding or deleting a serial number isn’t something I’d do. It’s like altering the vin on your car or the serial number on a gun. It’s kinda a no no. If you really want one, have the your birthdate or something stamped into it.
