My wife always uses not watching to get things turned around.
We started watching the game on my phone on the patio. After the horrible start we turned it off and I focused on getting the grill ready. It worked. Things settled down. :-)
During this run I haven't been wearing anything Illini during the games. I'm not starting now.
Back in the '89 season I had a reversible orange/blue basketball jersey that every time I wore it with the orange side out they won. I can't remember which game it was, but it was horribly frustrating and I kept reversing it from orange to blue with no change. They lost and I never wore it again.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that believes things like that matter in the outcome of the delayed broadcast that I am watching or listening to.
