1. Junipero is easy. Whoever takes over the distillery will likely get Junipero thrown in as an incentive. It's a small 7500 case brand.
2. Old Potrero is more complicated. It's an incredibly small brand, but a craft darling. They have about 1100 barrels of Old P aging of varying different vintages. More than that brand could ever consume.
I would suspect that they'll still release single barrels here and there but people (like myself in my new position) will also purchase some of the best barrels on the bulk market to release as limited offerings under our own brands.
So, there will be orphaned barrels and brands containing liquid that was originally designated for Old P in the market for years to come.

1. Yes...room is in the basement / ground floor (we don't really have a subterranean basement in the classical sense)
2. Distillery. Not working with the new owners...ink isn't dry there yet but seems all but a done deal. Old company was giving away the facility for the cost of someone assuming the leases.
3. New job ticked a lot of boxes. Local. Working directly with owners (no board). Equity. They own their building. Different category so plenty to be interested in and learn.
4. Old job gave me 6 months severance plus my 1.5 months of accrued vacation...so about 7.5 months salary. My new job starts 1.5 months after the old one ended...so I was able to convert their 6 months severance into a 6 month bonus.

Did you build your sons’s bedroom in the basement?
Sounds like a very productive couple months off. Enjoy your last 6 weeks before it’s back to the grindstone

What a couple of months it's been.
I lost my job, worked 6 day weeks to close out our distillery, helped line up investors to get it reopened, scored a different job, worked with my FIL building a bedroom for my son's birthday and have 1.5 months off right now.
I took a break from posting because I found myself being unnecessarily mean to posters here and the other board. I don't approve of that from myself.
I'll probably still not post much, especially after my new job starts as it's a lot more responsibility but I sincerely hope you all and your families and communities are well.
