I saw Ayo as a HS Jr, top prospect in the state, and he was as clutch as any player ever

but he had a thin bone structure, didn’t dunk as a Frosh, played like total crap against Loyola, and very right hand oriented. Wagler is taller, bigger boned, better shooter (pretty damn clutch so far), and if he stays one more year and adds muscle I could see him going top 10. Pro careers are so injury and draft spot dependent (TSJ’s career looking iffy even after the last 1/4 of the season he had last year).

- agree. I think Wagler is a really good player, but I'm not buying the hype. - villain January 12, 2026, 13:21:42
