Even if one of us went crazy and said “here have $10k to lock up a key reserve” on either basketball or football it is meaningless compared to their share of the $20 mill plus a rich alumnus with billions who can just write a check for $3 mill.
Sounds like Cuban gave those Hoosiers a check last year and a bigger one this year.
I’d rather just support the program through my still affordable season tickets and $250 I fund donation to get free parking.

Except for the non-revenue sports without large donors. Is this a correct interpretation: schools are theoretically limited in what they can spend on NIL from their own funds. However, third-party pools are essentially unlimited in total size and in amounts per individual.
