If my dream of an Iowa-ISU rivalry week game didn't come to fruition I would

like to see Iowa swap out Illinois for rivalry week with Nebraska and Northwestern playing that week in a punny game called the Nowledge Bowl. They actually have a competitive rivalry and it works because they both wear N on their helmets. I'm just really sick of Nebraska being a forced rival to Iowa.

We really don't play tOSU annually (game in 2017 followed by this year)... maybe we play Purdue annually? Maybe?

But we're stuck with NU as our "end of year" game... and most people could not care less if we play NU (or even if they're a B1G team). For hoops, it's nice to have an annual Chicago game (hopefully on a weekend) but that's about it.

Big reason we have to play NU at the end of the year is that nobody else wants to. That's JMHO. ( Marginally in the same boat? Mich State. Totally brand-new rivalry game invented with Penn State to "help" with that. Pffft .)
