Holy shit. So the baseball parents are on a messaging app. And it's off the hook. I won't get into too much but you have to understand that we have people of varied economic backgrounds here. Rich white people and poor latinos and everything else.

There was a message about paying for some new gear for each player and everyone was asked to Venmo one of the moms. A dad chimes in asking if he could use this EBT card. To which I felt sad. And wish he private messaged that but hey, I understood.

So some rich white mom pipes in that she doesn't find jokes about EBT cards funny! The dad replies back "it was a serious post"

I felt so bad. And if this this isn't just another example of how AWFUL rich white women are, I don't know what is. I wanted to say something but there would be no good to come out of it. I hope the mod deletes the whole thing.
