They had on as a guest some guy (forget his name now), who tries to analyze political trends and movements by looking at larger cultural and societal shifts and factors. He had an interesting observation regarding Gex X and Gen Z. Studies apparently show that both groups tend to be rather anti-authoritarian and very independent in terms of their personal outlooks and beliefs. They are the two groups which generally pushed back the hardest against Covid restrictions. And at least right now, they both tend to view the Republican Party as being less authoritarian and controlling than is the Democrat Party.
