I see a lot of “moderate” labels
Like Newsom is a “moderate” instead of too far left. Hardly anybody says “middle.” The nice thing about moderate for politicians is its relativity. I can say I am more moderate than my opponent, without asserting some losing “middle.” Saw that in the SF election last year, and we’ll see it plenty in NYC now that the socialist is in the finals.
