you have to read the whole post for complete context, but i'm going to offer quick comment on a particular portion below:

first of all, let me say that i'm glad taz wasn't seriously hurt in this fracas.

travel back in time ~4 short years and you may recall that there was a concerted push from democrats to "defund the police"... in lieu of cops, the stated plan was to send in social workers to "de-escalate" aggressive criminals. now, anyone who has ever stepped two feet into reality knew what an utterly insane proposal this was-- yet every democrat you know supported it.

here we have evidence of the real world application of such wisdom. it should be noted that this anecdote involves a public place and teenage girls. we can only imagine the success rate this plan could have yielded with adult men who had committed felony crime.
