The only value left in the magazine business is the goodwill associated with the names of the legacy brands. These have value because propagandists want to use them to push through dubious stories that people will deem credible by virtue of being published in some "reputable" magazine. Also…two notes:
1. I don’t remember there being soooooo many magazine choices like 20 years ago.
2. Holy shit magazines have gotten expensive. Most were between 15-25 dollars.
