Oldham and District is full of "Aliens" that need accomodation and facilities, including Parks and Recreation. There was no money prior to that, so the Latics performing well in whatever League was still a Draw for the Town, as was Rugby and Cricket, Bowls, Table Tennis, Snooker etc. We have a few Angling Clubs - Darts is another venture. The Muslims don't seem to be attracted in great numbers to Sports - might be because they are busy praying frequently on a daily basis. The Educatio Authority is teaming up with local Universities too. Everything is being thrown at today's youth it seems. Oldham Colosseum is being regenerated. It's all about grabbing money from Grants etc. in the main. Did I mention Cycling Lanes?
