This morning I have been in touch with my friend the head gateman about the gate separating the two sections of the RRE being closed. He has informed me that the club are tightening security and have invoked Martin’s Law (an offshoot of the Manchester Arena bombing) to restrict movement. Even match day staff have to provide proof of identity to move between stands. Seems to be excessive but apparently is being applied at all grounds. So, sorry fellahs, there will have to be two meetings each match from now on.
