I would suggest that blue & white have been our predominant colours throughout the vast majority of our past history, however, using those colours in any kit design would probably clash at any time in some way with a good 25% of clubs in the Premiership & EFL and won’t give you a recognisable identity either!

I can only think of 3 teams using tangerine or similar …Blackpool & Barnet in the EFL & Dundee United in Scotland. Non of them include any sort of blue in contrast.

It’s about time we created our own identity, picked some colours and stuck with them from here on in!

If we designed a kit using a combination of Tangerine, Blue & White we would be absolutely unique!

Although Blue & Tangerine doesn’t initially seem like a good colour combination in reality it actually looks really good.
I really like a blue shirt with tangerine pin stripes and tangerine trim.
The away kit could be tangerine with a blue pinstripe and blue trim, both of which could be matched with blue, white or Tangerine shorts and or socks and could be interchanged at any time depending on the colours worn by our opponents.

Let’s put it to the club to go along with the new badge design coming out next season.

The chant…….“We all play in Blue & Tangerine” could be revived and sang with pride like it was in the cup match with Fulham a few years ago which was absolutely awesome!!!
