Why would England not go they would have qualified anyway poor argument they wasn't just gifted a spot there earned it . For me it cheapens it. So called smaller nations have qualified for world cups in the past and caused upsets they made the world cup on merit which was a special achievement for them just gifting places is ridiculous.
