I appreciate your point of view TrueBlue, but it doesn’t make me more inclined to watch it. Maybe, as with the UEFA competitions, there could be a secondary competition for the lesser countries. I can’t say I look forward a time when an African country wins the World Cup. Their football is pretty horrible to watch, and is really of a lower standard. I’d still prefer a 16 team competition which is over and done with in three weeks, rather than this bloated monstrosity that we have now, courtesy of the corrupt Infantino.
