As an aside,back in the day -late fifties- I played in a youth team operating in north Manchester and Oldham. The team was self financing(subs) and did our own pitch marking and net hanging.
Because money was tight,one of the lads suggested we should play in the same strip as Wolverhampton Wanderers,as a second strip was out of the question. We never met a situation where our strip clashed with an opposing team over the seasons and it turned out to be a sound choice! Happy days.
