When we bought our place 25 years ago there was very little of that here.
Villamartin square was built in 63. You could go there for a night out and a nice meal.
These days there are bars & restaurants all over the place but a definite lack of Spanish cuisine!
Since Brexit the demographic is changing again where the vast majority of new bars opening up tend to be Irish or Belgian.🙄
It’s become a little bit like ‘Brits abroad’ but not to Benidorm levels. I live on a small urbanisation of 28 dwellings with only one or two that are rented out.
I have made lots of good friends over the years and although it’s not how I imagined it would be my wife & I absolutely love it!
