Switching teams is a bit too shallow for me. I reckon that your team always stays in your blood. I moved to Berkshire ( pre Cornwall) in the eighties. Thought I’d try starting afresh and bought a Reading season ticket. Bad move, just couldn’t warm to them, even though they were at the start of a wave. If you start supporting anyone other than your first town team must have been skin deep in the first place. You can’t switch and remain unconflicted if your 2 teams meet.
