Agree with the other posters Cass, very good post and spot with the summary. We can only hope that while it was mentioned a month or so ago the contract talks with Mellon has hit a stumbling block.
IMO Mellon is responsible for holding the club back now, we need the board to take stock of the situation, Frank to listen to the fans, and we need a new manager soon so he can plan for a promotion push next season.
Mellon has done what was asked by getting us promoted and now we need to move on again, hopefully with a manager that plays the game as it should be played and a person that can motivate the players.
I don’t like the type of football, I don’t like how he’s treated Fondop, I didn’t like how he swore at our own fans and I don’t like how he keeps saying ‘we are going to try and win the game’ when clearly he’s more than happy with a point and sets his side up to try and not to lose.
I have already decided that if Mellon is here next season I won’t be renewing my season ticket,I will review it at Christmas with the option of maybe a half season one.
I think it’s important things change before it becomes stale and fans start to drift away.
