I don't like loaning of players, (in or out) excepting for emergency keepers. However, I think regular games will suit Will well, and I'm hoping he will return a far better player and surprise a lot of us. As you have gathered I'm a Sutton fan and would try a big lad like him in midfield for sure. Time will tell.
