Mr Chairman. I have had to think long and hard on this topic having seen around 1500 games since my first in 1954. As we are 2nd in a table of all 92 clubs for beating teams in higher divisions in all cup matches(only Grimsby above us) I decided to go for League games, not that the cup games didn't come high on the list. Considering 5 FA cup games v Liverpool,(including the 1-2 at home with 42,000 crowd) and the 3-2 win 50 years later. Everton and Fulham away victories. The fantastic 89/90 season when we beat all the best in FA and League cup and the final match itself our 1st at Wembley. Lots of memorable League games. Peterborough in 1961 (27,000 crowd 1-1) and the 5-4 win from 0-3 down (only 5 teams have accomplished that). The devastating 2nd Div play off v Leeds. Winning at Maine rd 4-1. Losing 1-7 v Cardiff. Then our play off win in June. Mostly great memories but some very sad. But the lows always make the highs feel that much better. This may be a bit contraversial but for me the 3 are. 1960 v Exeter 5-2 and Bobby Johnstone's 1st game. 1974 v Huddersfield 6-0 to clinch promotion to Div 2. 1991 v Sheffield Wed to clinch 2nd Div Champs.
