Earl. I was at that match. I and my brother usually were in the Chaddy end but we decided to go in the Broadway paddock for the Liverpool game because of the 42,000 crowd. We were bang in line with the penalty area at the Rocky Rd end and Bert was most definately onside when he took that through ball from Bobby in the left channel and slid the ball in the far corner of the net with a left footed shot. What we couldn't see was the Ian St John shot at the Chaddy end which was given as a goal but came outwards when bouncing near the goal line. That caused a crowd surge and a lot of the crowd were injured.
