I think it’s a little bit early to be looking at academy players filling the strikers roles at present, in-fact any position as yet.
They would need to be exceptional to step into this league right now.
I’m all for developing youth but even if they were technically gifted the pure physicality of the game would be a huge problem.
Can you an imagine a 17 year old lad against a team like Walsall, it could ruin a young lad.
