Lets look at the season so far. We stand 14th at half way. Does that make us the 14th best team in League 2? Maybe not. Are the team punching above their weight and MM is getting a bit more out of them due to HIS TACTICS and game management against different teams! I don't like long ball but sometimes it has to be that way when the keeper and defenders are under pressure. Is that's why we have the best defence in our League? At our level its very dangerous to try and pass out of defence(we don't have Man City class defenders!) Looking back even our League winning teams didn't play superb passing game all the time. Going off last season we were 5th best but still won promotion.
After seeing all teams now I feel a slightly better points return in the 2nd 23 games could push us into top 7. It will be tough as we don't have the budget to improve the squad and with the injuries we have it's even tougher.
Give MM a bit of slack as a change could well be for the worst as other clubs have found.
Hoping for a solid performance on Friday with 3 points but a draw wouldn't be a disaster.
