I would think the head of recruitment will ask Mellon to look at the player and if Mellon agrees, then they will ask DR to see if it fits within the budget, taking into account injuries, the size of the squad, whether they can unload some players, etc.
This season could go badly wrong if we don’t start scoring on a regular basis soon.
