I’m sure I’ve heard of Frank Lord. Wasn’t he one of the favourites to get the latics manager’s job, before Jimmy Frizzell was appointed?
History could have been completely different.
Lord possible max 18. (Rochdale 12, Crewe 5, Plymouth 1).
Aspden possible max 14.
Counting league, fa cup and league cup matches only. Not tinpot cups. Possible max assumes ever-present for the matches in the 3 main competitions that we played against the club the player was with at the time. Don’t have any info re matches missed due to injury, suspension, or just dropped.
