Down to Mellon is the problem. He's inconsistent. It wouldn't be a shock if he made 5 changes against Harrogate, including dropping MM jr to the bench. As has been said, it was very much like the Halifax game.

So what goes on in has head? Does he have special tactics he only plays in Knock out games?

It's just mental that we do that to a Div 3 team and there is as much chance as not that we will revert to the dire league tactics next week. I just don't understand him.

I think the decision has been made as to the best striking partnership, but who knows, it could be anybody next week.

Great performance, sat back didn't or couldn't get out of our own area in the last 15 mins or so, and consequently got conceded. Unfortunately, Mellon doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes. And probably won't learn from his very good days either!!!! He's an enigma.
