I have long felt that the EFL should split from the PL. it’s a totally different world. Have a cut down PL 1 & 2 instead of the Championship. EFL Clubs should stand on their own 2 feet without PL hand me downs. Get rid of subsidised transfers for youth players at the same time. If a lower club develops a youngster the PL should accept it has to pay a top fee for him or wait until he’s out of contract.
