It’s all about incremental progress. We have a lot of new faces, 5 of that team and 10 of the match day squad yesterday weren’t even here in June!
We’re nowhere near the finished article yet and still on a learning curve but 3 wins and 3 clean sheets on the bounce is almost unheard of at Latics and we should hopefully get better & better over the next few weeks!
I’m convinced this team will be challenging up near the top by the end of the year. With a replacement in for Garner and one or two squad shuffles in January, another promotion could be a real possibility!!
