Spot on - ljh1 and compounded by having six players unfit and a relatively weak Bench. The Gills brought on 4 Subs. to MM's 1 if I recall. Once again we are starting a new Season with a weakened Squad. Looked decent to watch as there was a lot of activity, but upon reflection how many minutes were wasted when the Ball was up in the air? Our Midfield looked bare at times, massive gaps. You could see that the Gills wanted 3 points by any means possible, hence all the shirt tugging and desperate tackles etc.
