I can’t remember the scouts name but he wouldn’t recognise a striker if Ronaldo moved in next door. Who recommended Waters, Harratt and Drummond. If it comes to it neither can Mellon. Just to compound matters he thinks knocking it long to two big guys up top will work in this league.
He has a short memory, we won the knockout competition by playing through midfield quite a bit with yogi running at the opposition, now we are back to hoof ball and chasing home games, just like last season. I’ll say now I will be gob smacked if these tactics work in this division. Only three games in granted but it took Mellon nearly a full season to realise what was bringing the success. Deja vu! without the happy ending.
Next 7 games and we should have some more players back, but not a decent striker amongst them.
