Bryn - are you saying Southend were the better team? If so, absolutely can’t agree with that. We dominated the game until the last ten mins of the 90 when they had their best (only) spell. Before that we could have had five - we were much the better side. They did try and rough us up and break up play and as you say they did that well, but also coincided with some of our players tiring or struggling with injury at the end (Kitch and Evans) - think our subs overall weakened us but equally they had to be made.

Then they scored in the first minute of extra time and tbh, I couldn’t see us getting back into it until Norwood’s classy finish and that amazing cross shot! And bedlam ensued.

What a day - am still on the slow train back to Manchester, think I could walk quicker…. But worth it!!
