I do not know what kind of polishes are sold in Brazil: do not use a metal polish, but, rather, a mild polish for acrylics or other plastics. In a pinc, an automotive polish can be used, sparingly and diluted in water. If you can get Novus polish via Amazon, it would be the best. It comes in two grades, plus a liquid. Use the mid grade. The Parker 51 is one of the few pens that does not suffer from being immersed in water: it was the first pen made of Lucite (a metacrylate resin) and it is almost invulnerable! The "precious resin" used in most modern pens is also an acrylic resin andd can be immersed in water without risk.
