the nib of other pens dries out after a few days. I experienced that this quality is not necessarily related to the cost of the pens. I have a Sheaffer No-Nonsense that writes immediately after weeks of not being used whereas an Omas Extra stops writing after a few days. What feature of the pens is the cause of the different behaviour?. The nib, the feed or the cap that may not be sufficiently air tight when closed?
