Here is a very well made FAKE...

here is a pen, I found in Italy. Wonderfully made Greta Garbo Pen, you have to do a careful inspection of the pen to find traces of it being a FAKE. OK, the pearl is fit with an extra lump of glue. But other than that? I admired the perfect copy of the ink feed. The solid metal clip. Not the classic and easy to trace bent metal clips used before. The black parts made from injection moulded resin. The ivory white star not painted, no, perfectly made from resin. And then - the nib ! perfect Montblanc nib, hallmarked 18 K -- but well, this nib is from steel! Enjoy the pictures (with a slight tremble) Many others Montblanc pens you find in ebay are a lot easier to spot as fakes. Regards
