Well, either follow Lynn´s advice, cited a bit above this one,
or ask a pen professional per a perfect writer, vintage or modern, with some cosmetic problems. Most of the pen dealers sit on an overdose of "pens with such problems"

My worst "first pen" - it was a wonderful Pelikano I got to learn writing in first grade, it became worse and worse because I changed design with things like pencil sharpeners and teeth and and ... It died when I decided to alter the nib. :-(
