I had forgotten ugly old Mike Mazurki and had Hugh Marlowe in mind. I've only seen it on TCM and the old Criterion DVD. It clocks in at about 95 minutes. The UK version I found is 5 minutes longer with a different ending, but Harry still ends up as fish bait in the Thames. I prefer the US ending. Since I love the film so much, I just may watch both versions back to back and see, other than the ending, what those extra 5 minutes are like. Yes, the three Brit leads are outstanding, but Widmark is great too.
