Would love to see a nice reversal of form at Noir City one of these years where the weekend shows were totally devoted to "down and dirty" B films...and there are three Bromfield vehicles (CRIME AGAINST JOE, HOT CARS, and THE BIG BLUFF) that could easily be included in such a lineup. (IIRC, Alan Rode a long time ago screened THREE BAD SISTERS in Palm Springs, before he broke away from Arthur Lyons' original "B-noir" approach, but Eddie might now be just a tad too "respectable" to put it on display.) |
