I enjoy Bromfield's performance in THREE BAD SISTERS, caught in the viper's nest as he is...I just don't think Eddie would screen that even if he were inclined to do a full-on B-noir thing--which doesn't appear to be in the offing, as I think we are likely to see a full-on tribute to 1950 next year (75th anniversary, including a lot of excellent films and personal favorites amongst Eddie and his "brain trust").
